Ms. M. K. Mrudula

Some lawyers are defined by a single practice area. Others by a designation. For Adv. M. K. Mrudula, her compass has always been curiosity. Today she is an Advocate, practicing before the Madras High Court and subordinate courts in Chennai, with over 3 years of experience in civil litigation, writ proceedings, legal drafting, contractual documentation and client counselling. Alongside her litigation practice, she has over seven years of experience in legal research, mooting, academic writing and mentoring law students. Her legal practice is complemented by years of experience in legal research, writing and mentoring. She has served as a Research Associate under Justice P. N. Prakash (Retd.), Founder cum Editor-in-Chief of Lexcellence, TNDALU's E-Journal, and has authored several research publications in constitutional law, intellectual property, environmental law and allied legal disciplines and contributed to book publications. Having worked across litigation, academic publishing, research and legal content writing, she believes that the finest legal professionals are lifelong students first. As the Secretary of Vox Iura, she hopes to build a space where aspiring lawyers are encouraged to not only master the law, but to question it, understand it and shape it and to bridge the gap between the classroom and the courtroom.
